Celebrate your daughter's birthday with a cupcake decorating party

With your daughter's birthday on the horizon, you've probably been looking for a good theme party idea that won't put a serious dent in your wallet. If your birthday girl always seems to be a big helper in the kitchen, a cupcake party could be the answer for her birthday celebrations.
Start by investing in the bare essentials - cupcake baking pans, birthday candles, multiple colors of frosting, cake batter and sprinkles. Before all of your daughter's friends come over, set up all of your ingredients so you can show them how to make the perfect cupcakes.
After the cupcakes come out of the oven, you can let your daughter and the rest of her guests get to work decorating them. Put down some flat paper over your table to spare it from damage and give your guests party tableware to display their finished product.
Mylar balloons, streamers, confetti and other cupcake party supplies can help to add festive flair to your celebration. You should also invest in a few small plastic containers so your daughter's friends can take their sweet creations with them.
