Celebrate your anniversary milestone with family and friends

Many couples have their anniversaries during the holiday season, as it's the time where many men muster up the courage to pop the question. While anniversaries are often couples-only affairs, there's no reason why you can't use a big milestone in your marriage as an excuse for a delightful dinner party with friends.
Start off your anniversary party with cocktail hour! Put out a selection of appetizers, a few bottles of champagne and other finger foods for your guests to enjoy. Be sure to set the right ambiance for this period with some calming music, a few candles and other forms of decorative lighting. You can also use party tableware, mylar balloons and imprinted napkins to add to the festive nature of your get-together.
Instead of slaving away in the kitchen, have your event catered by your favorite restaurant. This will reduce the amount of cleanup you'll have to do at the end of the evening and allow you and your hubby to enjoy all of your favorite foods.
A party centerpiece, streamers and other anniversary party supplies will be fabulous additions to your party decor and they are sure to put your guests into a jovial mood.
