Brad Pitt and Ellen DeGeneres to host biggest fundraising gala in New Orleans' history
Date Created: 02/01/2012
Brad Pitt and Ellen DeGeneres are putting the finishing touches on their "A Night to Make It Right," a gala that will support Pitt's Make It Right Foundation, which has thus far built 75 homes for those who were uprooted by Hurricane Katrina. The star-studded gala will be held at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans and is expected to draw a crowd of A-listers, according to NOLA.com.
The $1,000-a-seat fundraiser already features an extensive guest list with big names like Randy Jackson, Josh Brolin, Blake Lively and Kevin Spacey. Along with all this star power, guests will enjoy musical performances from Rihanna, Sheryl Crow, Seal and many more. The gala is being dubbed one of the most ambitious fundraisers in New Orleans' history and should work wonders to help the city continue to rebuild from Katrina.
