The actual size roll I wanted was unavailable for the time I needed, so i had to go for a length less wide then I planned. That being said, whenever decorating, budgets and "missing desired items" can force one to be creative... and creative we were. The project was to decorate the interior of a tent for an anniversary party (5oth). We mixed metallic white and metallic gold like large streamers from corner to interior of tent. I found the gossamer to be easy to work with and when gathered/pleated, it draped well, when stapled, it held alright. The fabric can tear easily so some TLC is required. In the end the tent looked fabulous and for a low budget fabric, it really put the Ritz in the overall effect. This product in any color can achieve fantastic results because it is thin, pliable and covers a large area and what's more, easy to take down. I recommend this product. Just plan ahead enough ahead for it to arrive on your needed event date.

Gossamer is a wonderful product and a great value too! You can use gossamer in a multitude of uses. Anything that that you would normally would decorate with tulle you can decorate with gossamer at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend it!

The 'shimmer' in this fabric was hardly noticeable in person, and the material was thicker and not as drapey as I thought it would be. It ended up working fine in assisting to decorate columms for a party, but it was by far ideal. You get a lot of fabric for the price though.

This was a great addition to our wedding venue decorations. Inexpensive but looks great! The only problem we had was rolling it back on the tube for use again later - not easy to do : )

I used this material for a winter sene which turned out beautiful but the material was very difficult to adhere to the wall with tape. I think it was due to the metallic coloring in it. I had the material rouched in several areas and it just did not want to stick. It fell down several times before I found a technique that would work. If you want to use the fabric to just drape or cover something then I think it would work fine.
