We use this product for our floor in the setup for high school dance photography sets. What we were getting was only 36" wide and this product comes 48" wide. It makes a huge difference in how easy and how deep we can design our sets for dances. We can usually re-use these floors at least 3-5 times depending on whether it covers hard floor or carpet. In stocking feet it was fairly slick and some students wanted to make a slip 'n' slide out of it. I suppose that could be another creative use for it. This was our first of many purchases to come, WE WILL RETURN!!

I can't say enough about the quality and beauty of these metallic paper. I love the dark blue! I have used it in several of my parties and after-prom events. I used the large rolls of paper and then added the streamers over it! It looks amazing! It truly transforms a room.

Q:
We wanted to make fun house mirrors with this. Is it reflective enough and how sturdy is it?Asked on 3/19/2013 by mary from ct1 answer
A:
The metallic background is fairly reflective, so it should work to create a mirror prop. It is a mylar type material so it will not rip easily.Answered on 3/21/2013 by csr
Q:
I would like to use this paper to make a "NYC subway car" and take up on a wall. Is it durable enough to do that? Does it tear easy? Can we use magic markers to paint words, etc on the outside of the car?? In other words, would I be able to design it to look like a subway car on the wall?Asked on 2/3/2013 by Barb from Ohio1 answer
A:
This item is made of mylar, which is a thin, shiny and flexible material. It does tear fairly easy and you can write on it with permanent marker, but you must allow time for it to dry. Paint or magic marker will not stick to this material.Answered on 2/5/2013 by csr

Hello, I was wondering about your product.
Metallic Background 48" Silver
Item: BGMM487 SIL
I would like to know if the texture is like aluminum foil or wrapping paper?Asked on 7/20/2012 by Renae from United States1 answer
A:
It is like a mylar metallic material. It's not like aluminum foil but I would describe it like the mylar paper that comes on a roll that you can find around the holidays that some people use to wrap gifts, etc.Answered on 7/23/2012 by csr
Q:
What do you use to keep it stuck to floor or wall during an event?Asked on 4/14/2012 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
Most people tape it down to secure it on all sides.Answered on 4/17/2012 by csr
Q:
can you walk on thisAsked on 1/13/2012 by Anette from Arkansas1 answer
A:
The Metallic Background paper can be walked on, however you must make sure all edges are securely taped to avoid catching with shoes. This metallic background can become damaged with women wearing heels, etc. and is not guaranteed that it will withstand a lot of heavy traffic.Answered on 1/16/2012 by csr
