They were just too light in both color and weight.
The green color was great but the gold and purple were pale in comparsion.
We wanted to use them as confetti for the tables and a coin toss game into a decorative egg carton was a hit.

We celebrated Mardi Gras 2009 with two parades on a cruise ship and we are already planning another one for 2010. These coins would have made a great hit this past Mardi Gras so I am stocking up early for our 2010 Mardi Gras Cruisers parade. These coins are well made, true Mardi Gras colors and will look great, whether they are flying through the air when tossed or as a table decoration scattered around.
