I was very excited to find this! I'm having a Princess Jasmine inspired event and wasn't quite sure how to do it because I don't actually want to use Princess Jasmine. This gives an arabian nights feel with an obvious enough nod to Aladdin, but it isn't cartoony. And I love that it's a candle holder! The only complaint I have is that the hinges are flimsy. I ordered 7 and we had to fix 3. The others are okay, but probably can't be opened and closed too many times without coming apart.

My daughter absolutely loves Jasmine from Alladin. In fact, her wedding "theme" is all about Jasmine (girl's dress color, favors, etc.). So of course the theme for her shower was the same. While we were not able to find too many things relating to Jasmine that were not child like, we also went with an Arabian theme. However, when I saw this lamp, I knew I had to get it. I was surprised to see the great quality. We used it at the shower and had each guest write on precut slips of paper a "wish" for the bride and groom. Everyone loved it!
