Used the trees for a beach themese event with 100 guest. Everyone loved them and said they were ready to go to the beach.
In fact, some of our guest asked where we purchased them so that they could also purchase them for another event they were having.

I had planned to staple the tree to a 1"x1" board and stake it in the ground, but my husband was afraid I would hit a water line for the sprinkler system! So I taped it to the window behind the birthday cake along with the jointed surfboards. It turned out great! I'm glad I went with plan B! I was able to save it for future use!

I'm sure you could attach this to an archway because it is very pliable. I'm not sure about the string lights though.
