I am a school photographer and use your products quite often. This paper when used as a photographic background is quite busy. I toned it down with gossamer. Also the surface is shiny and becomes very reflective with flash. Its also not real durable and tears easily. Just a tad thicker than wrapping paper. My customers were happy with the end product but I just thought this information would be beneficial to some.

Comments:
I used this to transform the room to an outdoor Italian tuscan bistro, adding columns and murals. The quality is just great, but needs good quality adhesive to hold it up the wall. It did not rip at all when we dropped the roll. I was thrilled to see how well made this was, very realistic artwork. I would highly recommend this.

I have used this product in the past and will be using the ivy paper to cover large wall areas for our Vacation Bible School this year. I am making a castle courtyard out it and can't wait to see how it turns out. It makes coving large areas alot easier and more affordable than other options. The flat paper looks realistic and is really durable. I love the various patterns and solids it comes in. I found that it is reuseable if you are casreful when you take it down, which is nice and a money saver for future events.

We used this ivy stone paper as covering for the walls that we built for the city of Babylon - our children's program on the story of "Daniel".
The paper was strong, good quality and looked terrific.
Wish the price was better!

I ordered two different designs of flat paper -- the ivy and the water scene -- and they worked great! I was pleasantly surprised at the heavy paper -- easy to work with. I ordered it to decorate for Vacation Bible School. If you are careful at how you attach it to the walls, you can easily re-use it again. I sent mine to another church's VBS.

Q:
We want to use the Ivy Wall Pattern for the backdrop of a play. We need to adhere it to 8'x 4' pieces of heavy cardboard that will then be stapled to a frame. What is the best way to adhere it to heavy cardboard? Spray adhesive or staples or some kind of tape? Also, can the flat paper be painted on? We want to add torches to the scene.Asked on 2/21/2013 by Marcia the Drama Teacher from Medina, OH1 answer
A:
You are able to adhere the paper to your cardboard with any of those options. We have used spray adhesive before that seems to work well. Also, you may attempt to paint it, however we cannot guarantee it would not warp the paper from the paint.Answered on 2/21/2013 by csr
Q:
HI I want to use this on the walls of the hall that we are renting for a party. They have 11 feet high walls. We want to cover up the wood panelling. Should I buy the corrugated or the flat, which one will stay up better? Any suggestions on how to place it up? Tape? Thank youAsked on 3/16/2012 by renee from detroit mi1 answer
A:
You will get more and better coverage with the flat paper. You can tape it up or tack it.Answered on 3/19/2012 by CSR
Q:
what is the difference between flat & corrugated?Asked on 2/13/2012 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
Flat paper is simply flat, and corrugated paper has the ridges and is much thicker. Corrugated paper is what a lot of teachers use on bulletin boards in classrooms. It is not made to be walked on, whereas the flat paper is used on floors for special events a lot of times.Answered on 2/15/2012 by csr
Q:
Will i be able to use this for my event as a floor runner? There will be alot of foot traffic and im worried that it will rip or tear? Is it thick and sturdy enough for it to be a floor runner?Asked on 11/5/2011 by Anonymous0 answers(earn bonus points)
Q:
I was wanting to do my children's room in a castle theme was thinking of using the ivy brick paper to hang on the wall around a large scene. how long will the paper last and how quick will it fade if not exposed to much sunlight. I am willing to replace the paper but not wanting to do it too often.Asked on 9/1/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
I'm sorry but we have no way of knowing the answer to your specific question since flat paper is typically used to decorate and not used for permanent displays. It will depend on how the paper is attached to the walls and the humidity level in the room as well as the age of the children (ripping, writing on paper, etc.).Answered on 9/2/2011 by csr
Q:
Do you think this would look good for a jungle/safari scene? I'm tansforming my basement into a "jungle".Asked on 2/24/2011 by Lynn1 answer
A:
It is all based on your personal preference on what color or type of background material you use to create your jungle. We carry many different colors of gossamer also which would make a great choice.Answered on 2/25/2011 by csr
Q:
which back drop would best reflect an old city wall?Asked on 2/22/2011 by dina1 answer
A:
It really depends on what type of setting/scenery you are wanting to use this in. We carry cobblestone: BGFPAT COB, flagstone: BGFPAT FLA or the rock wall also: BGFPAT ROC.Answered on 2/23/2011 by csr
Q:
What is the difference between corrugated and flat in terms of hanging on a wall for a backdrop? I am unsure of which to buy.Asked on 2/19/2011 by Iris from Chicago1 answer
A:
Corrugated paper has the ridges and the flat is plain. Either one would work for hanging on a wall for a backdrop. Corrugated is a stronger, thicker and sturdier material.Answered on 2/21/2011 by csr

Q:
Hello, I am considering using the ivy wall pattern in a window. It would be applied to a foam board to make a privacy screen. Can you advise as to which product type either flat paper or corrugated would look more realistic?Asked on 2/14/2011 by Anonymous1 answer

The flat paper would look more realistic.Answered on 2/15/2011 by CSR
