I used these as decorations and part of a "photo booth" area at my son's birthday party. They were a big hit! My brother who did the DJing for the party loved the Da Beat one the best and actually took home to use when he helps to DJ another event. My only complaint was that it did not come with instructions on how to set them up. We easily figured it out but for those that may not be savvy in this area, you may struggle with this part.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
