This was the first time I've used gossamer for a theme party, and I'm sold. In the past I've used expensive draping fabrics to get the effect that I wanted and the palm gossamer gave me the right look for a fraction of the cost. It's super light and held in place with minimal staples and tie offs from the ceiling. The biggest drawback is that I didn't realize that you really need to double up the gossamer to get a solid effect. I'll go with a wider roll next time considering the amount of space I need to cover. I really needed twice as much as I bought. The palm gossamer isn't going to give you a jungle feel on its own. Consider some actual palms around the room and really deck out the ceiling in streamers or vines.

We used it on the ceiling to create a jungle canopy for Vacation Bible School. The kids loved it. Our adult members were also impressed. It was lightweight and easy to hang.
