They are very shiny and metallic looking as I hoped they would be. I knew the backs would be flat but not hollow which allows them not to keep their shape at the top and the bottom. I wish they would have made them with a solid back; they would have been easier to hang on the surface and you wouldn't have had to fool around adjusting the plastic to stay in place.

Planning on using the instruments as props in a parade, but couldn't tell by the description that they were one sided. Not a huge deal since instead of using them as actual faux instruments we can hang them on the float.

Description leads one to think the instruments are whole and hard plastic, when they are very flexible and are just a half mold of the instrument.
If I knew they were half instruments I wouldn't have bought them.

I needed some cheap plastic instruments for a stage show, something the kids could pretend to play on stage, and these were perfect. From the audience, you could barely tell they were not solid instruments. They are flimsy, though, so the kids have to be careful.
