We used this fabric to drape on the ceiling of our 1920s themed Prom. We have used gossamer in the past and were looking for something that would feel more luxurious. The fabric looked gorgeous. It was stiffer than I expected - it's not soft at all - but it still draped well. The one con we had was that we were looking for a really intense shimmery gold. When we draped the fabric with something solid behind it the color was great, but on the ceiling with dim lights shining through the color was much more pale. The fabric is not as opaque as gossamer, but light still does travel through it!

The photo shows a product with lots of folds and contures but in reality it is stiff and could never look like the photo, my application needed to bend and fold and drape, this could not
