We used the arch for our Gingerbread Forrest entrance. We attached lights to it with curved pins and they held well. The instructions are a bit iffy when it came to the 3D part, but all in all we figured it out. It took two or three of us several hours to get this together. But once it was done it looked very cool. We set up the Gingerbread Castle and it was easier. It took two of us about 45 minutes and then we placed lighting around to accent it. The Gingerbread Express was a train ride to pick up the Gingerbread Man and after returning to the station he led the riders into the Gingerbread Forrest for music, hot chocolate, and cookies. It was very magical and the props were great!

The arch looks nice when finally assembled, but it is a lengthy process to set up. Main concern is unless you have an 8.5' x 10.5' space, you cannot store this for future use. It is virtually impossible to disassemble without damaging it and storage is a major issue. It is really only good for one time usage.

We used our gingerbread arch for a community event that we called the Winter Wonderland Workshop. We made individual gingerbread houses, painted faces, watched a festive movie and had a snack. The archway was absolutely perfect. We did decorate the opposite side since it was a walkway in the wonderland area and could be seen from front and back. I love this website and I love their stuff. I think they have great ideas that you just can't get anywhere else.

Comments:
This surpassed my expectations. It does take time to build, takes min. two people, approx. 1-2 hours to build- but it's worth it. I used this for a party that was held in a large lobby, it was a show stopper. We kept it up for a week after the party because it was festive and tasteful. Recommend putting a brick or some weight at the base, instructions shows you how to do this.

This arch was a little hard to set up but once we got it set up it was well worth it! It made our small Christmas church play look like a brosadway production!

Q:
Is there any way to see the instructions before purchase? We want to use this for a dance recital. There is storage, but it's only 2 of us dance instructors putting it together. We don't want to get in over our heads if it's too hard to assemble.Asked on 3/2/2011 by Gina from Saratoga, NY1 answer

I do apologize, but we do not able to distribute the instructions unless a purchase has been made for the item.Answered on 3/4/2011 by CSR
Q:
Can you place this on a lowboy for a christmas float? How would you make it stand up?Asked on 11/5/2010 by Pen from Lumberton, TX2 answers
A:
This arch is made of Cardboard and only printed on one side. It is free standing with assembly required.Answered on 11/5/2010 by csrVERIFIED BUYER
A:
I'm sure it is too late for this answer to help you, but it is possible to put it on a float, but you would have to reinforce using your own methods. As it is, it is not sturdy enough to withstand the constant movement. It would probably be more work than it is worth. not sure how it would stand up to the wind created by the movement of the vehicle.Answered on 12/23/2010 by tvmaz from Huntsville, AL
Q:
can i use this outside?Asked on 11/4/2010 by kkent from williamsburg, va1 answer
A:
Our Arches (unless otherwise noted) are only meant for indoor use. They are made of corrugated cardboard and would blow over if windy and not hold up during moisture such as rain, dew.Answered on 11/4/2010 by csr
