We used the Peace Sign as the main point of interest at at 70;s Party. Guests loved it. It was large, colorful and very appropriate for the 1970's themed party - and really set the mood for teh part. It did take about 1.5 hours to put together. Not difficult, just time consuming - and you need 2 PEOPLE. Instructions were pretty easy to follow. Should stress to make SURE the lightbulbs are screwed in BEFORE you seel the top cover. In general - product is excellent, and I would highly recommend using it for a party. You can also use it without plugging it in - as it would not take away from the design/purpose. Although when we plugged it in...it looked really, really, cool

We had a Gala Auction as a funraiser in my children's school. The theme of the event was Beatlemania. This Peace sign was absolutely perfect for this occasion. It takes a bit of work to put together, but it is well worth it. One fne point I would like to mention is to turn the bulb switch to the ON position before closing the structure otherwise the light will not go on when you plug it in. The instructions do mention it, but in our haste we put it all togethr to then realize the light switches were not on. We had to carefully make small holes on the back panel and reach in and turn the switches on. Why not have the switch on the cord itslef? Minor, albeit frustrating, design flaw. Otherwise, WONDER piece /peace.

Used as an elementary library decoration to "PEACE OUT......WITH BOOKS!". I also purchased the retro car to take photos of the students when they reach their reading goals.

We used this Peace Sign on a float for a parade where the 5th grade students wore tie-dyed shirts for an added touch. The students added decorations on the back since both sides were visible. It was a real crowd pleaser as the float went by!
