I purchased these signs for a 1920's themed dance that I was planning. When I ordered them, I wasn't quite sure what I was going to use them for, though I really liked the design.
Once they arrived, I found that they really added to the 1920's atmosphere. I hung them in different areas of the room that fit the various street names (for example, Lefty's Live Jazz was placed near the band). It was a fun added touch to the party.
My only minor issue was that the signs are a little bit small. The word designs are cool, and it would be nice if the signs were larger to show them off.

We wanted to use these for a high school Jazz Era themed dance, but the references to alcohol and violence were inappropriate. The ones that we could use went well with our decor and added a nice touch. I just wish more of them had been young people appropriate.

I had planned on using these to make my own "Street Lamp-post/Street sign" for our 1920's, '30's, and '40's party. We used PVC for the poles and added a patio votive lantern to the top. We added two of the "Street Signs" per lamp post. They were a big hit! However, it was a bit of a challenge since they are really only made to stick to the wall (they are thin/flimsy and bigger than a "real" street sign.)
