        I got this for my daughter's fist birthday. it is so very cute. The thing is that the strings are not attatched but it does come with it. My husband decided not to use the strings and get a pinata stick. The stick wasn't the best idea becuase the pinata wouldn't break. Everyone did have fun trying though, so did the adults. Finally I just told them to rip the pinata apart, ha ha ha everyone did it at once even the adults were on the floor grabbing candy. It was so much fun. The memories we have and pictures were great. the only thing was that I bought like 4 or 5 party bags of candy and only like 2 bags fit in it, it's skinny so not a whole lot of candy fit, the rest of the candy I put it in party favors. it was enough for my party, but if you have about 20 kids or more get another one.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          This colorful pinata was a fun activity for all of the kids. It was durable enough that all of the kids got a chance to whack it before it broke open with candy.
