The water resistant design allows the berries to float. Each one has a tiny glowing white LED that fades on and off slowly. Use the Fairy Berries on the serving table at a wedding reception. They were so intriguing that a small child collected them all. His pockets glowed. I am still working to get them back. They added the perfect touch to turn an indoor environment to an outdoor feel without the bugs and weather conditions.

I got these lights for a fairy theme party. They are very small and tend to get lost in the decorations but overall, cute. However, they need an on/off switch! Once you pull the battery tab out (and it doesn't go back in), it goes on for about 24 hours until the battery cell finally dies. Kind of annoying.

The fairy berries have an attractive firefly like, gradual on and off sequence, they glow in slowly and dim slowly rather than strobe which is a lovely effect. We hung them over a dance floor. Nothing bigger than fishing line can be strung through the small slit on the back half of the round case, to suspend the fairy berry. That gave the effect of them floating in the air when the fishing line became invisible in low light. The instructions say that they are not guaranteed to be water tight so, there is a risk to burning up an expensive little light by using in moisture. When first used, they have to be taken apart to remove the tab between the 2 batteries. There is not on off button so once the tab is removed, they are on until the batteries deplete. We removed the batteries after the first use to preserve the batteries. When removing the tab it is very easy to remove the clear colored, thin, rubber washer that helps with water protection. Volunteers did not notice those rubber rings falling out and several of the rubber washers were lost in the party setup. They require some work to open and start and that must be done close to the starting time of an event because of the short battery life (approx 20 hours according to manufacturer). They are small and getting the rubber washer back in, providing you don't loose it as you are removing the battery tab, is not easy. The effect is marvelous though.

Can the Fairy Berries be put in balloons?Asked on 2/7/2012 by Anonymous2 answers
A:
Yes they can.Answered on 2/8/2012 by CSRA:
I think so, the hole must be big enough for them to fit. Once your party is over, pop the balloons on a dark surface, so that when the balls come out, they can be caught so that they won't roll off.Answered on 5/12/2012 by Asra from Karachi, PK
