I plan to use this as a centerpiece for my daughter's bridal shower (April 2013). When I pulled one out of the box I fell in love with it immediately. My daughter decided she wanted to use them for the four tables at her wedding (end of April 2013). I guess I will have more comment once the event takes place and I can get the full effect.

We used these candle lamps as centerpieces for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. We used the LED votive lights which fit perfectly. We placed the lamps on a mirrored octagonal centerpiece holder and sprinkled silver holographic stars on the mirror and on the black tablecloth overlays. We also place 6 (real candle) Eiffel tower votives around the eiffel tower (the votives also available through Shingdigz). The candle lamps and votives created a bistro-type ambience that was really lovely. We received many, many compliments from our guests. Would definitely recommend them to others!

These make super adorable cocktail centerpieces though you may need to add to it or accent some other way if it's a large round table as it may not have the same effect. Use flameless or no drip candles as regular tea lights dont last very long and can easily spill wax and the mesh wiring isnt clean up friendly. :) The lamp shade was nicer than I thought, real frosted glass and gives off a romantic lighting !!

Using this for my tween daughter's Parisian-themed bedroom. Wanted sophistication, not too much kitsch - but still have a little whimsy. This Eiffel Tower fills the bill. The glass shade is plain/milky; I added a black baroque swirl decal -looks pretty! Would make a great centerpiece for a French/Paris-theme celebration (at these prices, would be very affordable for several tables)!

An LED tealight should work with this candle lamp instead of using an actual candle flame with a votive. It will also provide a brighter whiter light as well.Answered on 4/5/2011 by csr
