I can't give you a very detailed review, as I have not assembled or used the item yet, but it seems to be made of VERY lightweight cardboard. When I opened the package, even though it was lying flat in it, some of the edges seemed to be a little warped. I'm not sure how well it will stand up on its own, but I will give it the benefit of the doubt and hope for the best for our movie themed table assignment decoration.

This was a cute centerpiece, but overpriced for what you got. The assembly tape included did not hold well, but a hot glue gun reinforced it well.
