I bought this product many years ago and used it at a Renaissance themed Girl Scout event as a backdrop for photos and it worked wonderfully. After the event was over, I used it to cover the front of my home for Halloween! It looked awesome. I used it for several years before I had to replace it and buy a new roll.

Gossamer is not meant to be placed on the floor actually. It works best for a background since it is a lightweight fabric (comparable to the consistency of a fabric sheet). Heels will definitely catch and tear the material on gossamer.
