Decorating for a formal high school orchestra banquet for 300 people with a New York theme. By the looks on the ad, the confetti looked perfect to add a fun touch to the tables.
I am very disappointed in this product. They claim it will cover 3-4 tables. While the stars will, there are so few buildings per package, there were on average 8 per package. Very skimpy indeed on the building. If that is why you are buying it, you will not have enough buildings for more than 1 table per package.

[...] The only problem was that I thought there would be more of the little buildings and not so much silver. I guess I thought everything would be black. But it looked great anyway. It is very cute. It was part of the table decor for a Citizens Against Domestic Violence fundraiser, just scattered on the table around the centerpiece.
