I bought the yellow cellophane to cover windows. The yellow came off on my fingers a little bit and was very thin. Wish the color was a deeper yellow instead of being so light. I needed to make medieval looking windows on a really tight budget so it worked for the job.

Cellophane is lightwieght, therefore it would attach to your ceiling easy enough, however, it does not hold its own shape so it may not be ideal if you trying to create a specific shape.Answered on 2/5/2013 by csr
