I do children sermons at our church as captain bob, pirate/fisherman. have always wanted to have a boat and when i saw the one at your store it was awesome. i had hoped that the steering wheel would have been made of firmer plastic, but i am going to beef it up with some cardboard so i can actually mount it to the boat. Life preserver and the ship were impressive and the personalization was very eye appealing.

This wheel was great!!! I wrote Happy Birthday XXXX(name) and the date of the event on the outer part of the wheel in permanent marker. I had each guest hold the wheel and used the harbor/marina as the backdrop for commemorative pictures. This was a great value for our nautical themed Adult party. I also purchased the blue & white stripped captain's wheel napkins to accompany the theme.

This is a very nice wheel, I got it for the pirate ship. I do have to admit that the wheel is a little flimsy. I only plan on using it one time, so I don't really mind that it's a little flimsy. It looks great with the pirate ship.

I was disapointed with this ships wheel. It was colorful but very flimsy. I would recommend reinforcing this wheel if you intend to use it with the stand-up pirate ship.

I purchased the wheel to go with the ship, as shown in the picture, thinking it was a solid wheel that could be played with by the children (3 years old). It is actually not solid, but thin plastic. It would be better as a wall hanging type decoration than used as shown in the picture. That said, the children did play with it, and it is still in one piece. I do think it is worth the [$].
