Everyone at my work loved it and said it looked great. I wouldn't say it's difficult to set up, but it's not exactly easy. I did it by myself.
The only cons are that it does not stand on its own and it does not store well. Once put together, it stays together. However, it is beautiful and classic. It added to my candy caned themed party great. LOVED IT!!!

We had a candy cane themed party for a religious organization's dinner & dance. The end result did not disappoint since it was colorful and the red stage curtains at our location provided a beautiful backdrop for the 2 candy canes that were purchased. Everyone loved them except for the assemblers. They had difficulty in assembling them and one candy cane did not stand upright without leaning it against a wall. In this case we anchored them to the stage and it worked out. Although both sides are printed with the candy cane print, one side of both canes did not fair as well as the other side. From a distance and as a party decoration, they worked out great and everyone commented on how lovely they were. So, yes, I would order them again. Even though they were somewhat difficult & time consuming to put together (2 person task, one person cannot assemble these alone, which took around 1 hour to put each a single candy cane together - so if you purchase, allow sufficient time), they certainly made a statement!
