Looks much nicer in person. I was thrilled to find that the base can be used over and over, just replace the candles. Great size as well as it will stand alone nicely on a cake and not look lost.

Can this little cake candelabra stand on its own or does it have to be placed on a cake? I'm having a Leaning Tower of Pisa cake made for my Italian-themed party and regular candles won't work on the cake but I'd like to have something on the table to blow out when they sing happy birthday.Asked on 2/23/2013 by 50 and still foxy from Atlanta, GA2 answers

I haven't ordered it yet but I did find other pictures of it from other vendors. It seems that there is a little spike on the bottom of the candelabra in order of it to stay on the cake.
