I purchased this product for a pep rally themed cookout celebration. I was actually more excited about it than my 13 yr old and his friends but I have no regrets about getting them. His younger cousins between ages 5-10 were in on wearing them. So my only suggestion is that if its not for actual pep rally teens may not be interested.
