I bought this to enhance a table decoration for my son's wedding rehersal dinner which was a nuatical theme. I cut it in large squares (didn't ravel), and scrunched it up and laid shells and a small wooden boat on top with fairy-berry lights around it and it was the perfect touch for the table center pieces. It was better than I expected. Couldn't find them anywhere cheaper so don't bother to look and I got it faster than I anticipated. Didn't look cheap and it was durable and worked well.

Originally we were going to use the nets as wall decorations and then when we saw them we decided to weave them into our theme in multiple areas. We used them as runners on the tables, decorations on the band stand, on the serving tables and on the windows.

I purchased this to use along with a my "message in the bottle" centerpiece. Given the dimensions, I was hoping that I could cut it into three sections, which would be placed under the bottles. Unfortunately, the material is very compact and the netting itself has very large squares about 1.5" x 1.5". The overall effect is that you can easily see the table cloth underneath the bottles and it doesn't have much mass when you gather the material together. I had purchased another fishnet, which was actual "used fishnet". It was smaller in dimension, but the material itself was more bulky and the netting was half inch by half inch sqaures. The color is good and it's great for nautical or under the sea themed events.

I bought this net to hang in my step-daughter's "Under the Sea" themed bedroom. Because it is so large, I was able to cover a lot of area with it. I then hung fish throughout the net to add color. She loves her room and I'm very happy with it. Great value.
