Comments:
Loved this product - there is a lot of it on a roll. We used it to create the tile floor and walls for our Fabulous 50's themed diner and soda shop. It held up to people walking on it all night long as they approached the order counter. We secured the edges with duck tape. Everyone loved the decorations and the event - thank you for helping us set the stage.

Used it for a 50's dance party and it held up. Not alot of dancing, but alot of traffic(even running) across it and it held! Great size of the blocks of white/black and ALOT of length. Wish I could have bought like half the size at half the price and it would have been PERFECT. Definately recommended. Used it on the walls as a back drop also and it really added alot to the decor!

Comments:
There was a lot of this product on each roll. We will have plenty to use in subsequent events. This vinyl was durable enough to withstand kids walking on it to take photos. It would also be good to use as a table covering.

Q:
I see that a lot of people have used this product for a dance floor. I am interested in using this as a dance floor for a birthday party in my home and I plan to lay it out on my hardwood floors and was wondering is there any thickness to the poly vinyl for support when dancing?Asked on 10/17/2012 by Laura from maryland1 answer
A:
Polyvinyl is 2.5 mils. It works great on flooring.Answered on 10/18/2012 by csr

Q:
I am holding a family reunion in September of this year with a 1950s theme. There will be a lot of dancing. Would this serve well as a dance floor? It is slippery as there will be elderly people there?Asked on 5/18/2012 by Kathy from Coopersburg, PA1 answer
A:
Poly vinyl is used a lot on flooring. It does have a slight sheen to it but isn't considered overly slippery. If you are unsure of the poly vinyl we also carry flat patterned paper in the black and white checkerboard design. The item number is: BGFPAT CHE.Answered on 5/21/2012 by csr
Q:
We want to use this as the dance floor, will it with stand the the shoe wear on it for the night. Also want to splatter paint on it. If we roll it up will the paint crack?Asked on 3/12/2012 by Anonymous from ohio1 answer
A:
Poly vinyl is not meant to have paint on it as it will not adhere and it will peel off easily. I do not know if it will crack but we do not recommend it. Poly vinyl makes a great dance floor and like anything that's temporary used on the floor it is all dependant upon the type of shoes (heels may catch in it much easier) and how much traffic is actually on it.Answered on 3/13/2012 by csr
Q:
What tape would you recommend for taping this down on a concrete floor? I was thinking of duck tape for around the edges and then wide, clear shipping tape for the seams.Asked on 2/21/2012 by Party Guru from Atlanta, GA1 answer
A:
Yes, you have it perfect. Use duct tape for the edges and clear packing tape for the seams.Answered on 2/22/2012 by CSR
Q:
I would like to reuse this floor once a month and wonder if after rolling this up to store, is it hard to roll back out and it lay flat?Asked on 10/7/2011 by Anonymous from Taylors, SC1 answer
A:
This is not hard to roll out again once it's been rolled up. When we use this on the floor for our photo shoots in images you see online we typically tape the sides down to prevent rolling on the corners.Answered on 10/10/2011 by csr
Q:
can this roll be used outside to lay flat on concrete?Asked on 7/18/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
Yes. Poly vinyl may be used outside, however due to the fact that it will be placed on concrete, it may get snags in it from people walking on it (especially heels). This is the best material to actually use outdoors.Answered on 7/19/2011 by csr
Q:
Does this vinyl lay flat on its own are do you have to glue it?Asked on 3/17/2011 by Anonymous from Minden, La.1 answer
A:
Poly vinyl will lay flat, however if you are using it on a floor we highly recommend that you tape all sides down securely.Answered on 3/21/2011 by csr
