We have been in a 20x15 room with two small windows running tests on a computer system. We purchased this roll to cover the bare walls that had been closing in on us. Looking up from our work we now see the beach and if only for a moment we are taken away from the boring repetive work and get to take a breif vacation. This is our second wall covering, the first being a disco/hippy type setting that lasted us for 8 months before we felt it was time for a change. We add personal pictures of vacations/fish/beaches etc to the covering to give us that brief escape. No problems with the longivity of the products.

I bought a couple of these for a beach party and it was a cute addition to the theme. However, it is very thin plastic so taking it down to use it again is a LONG process. It rips real easily. I wish it was a 6' length instead of 4' to cover the entire fence area but it still added a wonderful feel.

We used this beach roll thinking to compliment the decorations for our beach-themed reception decorations. We received this item last, and almost didn't put it up -- due to time. Thankfully, we had time to put this up....it was the "piece de la resistance" (I don't know french). But this beach roll as a background on a stage where we had karaoke was PERFECT! It MADE the whole room.

Our room rolls are made of a very lightweight plastic and may be attached with sticky tack or tape. This is not self adhesive. The tape you use on your walls to hang this will determine the complexity of removing off painted surfaces and I would recommend trying this out first.Answered on 10/12/2011 by csr
