As other reviewers stated this is more of a booklet than a book. The price is not bad for the book if you are ordering something else, [...]. Good ideas include how to drape the ceiling with gossamer which is why I ordered the book. Booklet has very small, very limited number of pictures that are black and white. Not really step by step directions only brief overview on what to do.

          I would like it if the book was a little more detailed on things and have bigger pictures with more detail so I can see how it should look, but other than that I think it has wonderful ideas and I am going to use it at a reception this July for table skirting and to cover up a fireplace.

            Those of us who have been in the event & wedding industry for 19-20 yrs and need something to assist in training new hires on how to do amazing ceiling & wall decor. This is awesome. If pic's were in color, would be better. But you can see what is supposed to happen if you read it & can see the minor color diff's in the pic's.

                  Typically we suggest 3 yards of gossamer per chair bow to have the tie and draping. The book does include making of bows.

                  Gossamer is used with lighting many times. It will depend on how hot the lights get and how tightly you are thinking of wrapping the gossamer around the railing. I would suggest simply draping it.

                  I'm sorry but your question is very vague. Gossamer may be draped from ceilings in various ways, therefore depending on the height of your ceilings and the amount of drape you are wanting will determine how much gossamer you will need. Gossamer is available in many different sizes (widths and lengths) to suit your decorating needs. We do not have a "standard" gossamer size that is used for ceilings or other projects.

                  Gossamer is a material similar to a dryer sheet that may not be able to have the wrinkles removed. Gossamer is meant for a one-time use and you could try possibly steaming it if you have to re-use it.
