Hollywood Walk of Fame Stars

These were used for a fifth grade last party which theme was Super Stars which consisted of a talent show, sparkling cider toast, and star trophies handed out. We put these stars with their names on them on the floor making a pathway into the room. The kid's absolutely loved them and it made them feel special. After the party we took pictures of them sitting next to their star. Then they took them up to keep. I am going to go ahead and order now for my son's class in two years from now. I will remember to save the backing so they can put them back on for a keepsake.

Thank you for having these cool stickers and at a decent price 27 kids are a lot to buy for.

Don't be fooled as I was into thinking that these are vinyl peel and stick floor tiles. They are more like a vinyl peel and stick cling on. The package even tells you they are not recommended for use on the floor! All of the reviews I read said they used them on the floor. I did as well since that was the purpose I had purchased them for and didn't have time to find anything else. They looked fabulous just realize that you are paying for cling ons not peel and stick hard vinyl floor tiles.

They look exactly how they look on line, but not understanding why it shows a picture on line to use them on the floor and create your own walk with them. Then when you receive them at the top it says not recommended for floors?

I use !" gold stick on letters (from the sign dept at Office Depot) for the people's names and it looks just like the real thing. People take them home and love them (they come up easily from the floor)

Will be great for Teacher Appreciation Week. However, the names are hard to read even with a black sharpie. Will try writing over them again so that the teachers can see their own star.

10 Year old Girl Birthday Party

I bought this product for my daughter's 10th birthday. It was a red carpet, hollywood event. We wrote the names of each her guests (girls only) and we place them on my ceramic tiles in the foyers. As each girl walked into the house, they saw their stars.

The Hollywood Sidewalk Stars was an added touch for my daughter's movie night party. We created a "NY Walk of Fame" by adding the names of our guests on the stars then placing them onto a red carpet we provided. Our guests loved it!

  These would probably roll up around the edges and would cause a tripping hazard. Our Hollywood Sidewalk Stars are meant for flat smooth surfaces only.

Can I hang these on a window? Will it damage the window? The gist I am getting from the product description is that they are like window clings. How transparent are they?   You can use these on a floor without damage. If light does shine through them, it is possible that you can see through them. The floor you really shouldn't have an issue with.

  The space is 1 1/4" high before going to the point of the star. I think that 3/4" or 1" letters would work best.

  We recommend that they be applied to a smooth surface. I can not guarantee that they will stick to a stone or cement walkway.

  They back of the Hollywood Sidewalk Stars are self sticking, so you should have no issue with applying them to the red carpet. Your guests should have no issue with walking on them as long as they are on a flat surface.
