Snapped one to verify length of glow. Actually lasted 24 hours. The cooler the room the longer they last. It was also very bright and lit up the paper lantern quite well.

These glow sticks were used as a fundraiser. The blue was hard to see and some of the sticks were defective and didn't glow. I had to buy the strings so they could be tied around the neck or wrist. Overall, though, they were a big hit at the football game.
