DEAR DNA OF FLORIDA...you're doing it wrong. don't stand it up while baking. you fill one half all the way. they you click on the top part that has the hole in it. YOU MUST wire it tight, or use baking string, very tight, so the cake mix does not oooze out. that metal flap thingy on the bottom half of the duck is so that it don't rock itself and stays put. i bake it for 50 minutes and when you until the wire the cake mold releases easily. jUst made one last night. a perfect ducky. what JOY! try it again, you will love it.

I love the look and the idea but every time I tried to bake it standing up like they said to do it wouldn't work the cake batter was trying to seep out. so I just baked it laying down on one side and the one side came out great. But I wanted it for a 3D ducky cake not a one sided cake. So if you buy this don't get your hopes up on it being 3D because I am a wonderful baker I bake all the time and all different kinds of stuff but This does not work the way they said it would I tried thick and thin cake batters and even brownie mix and that didn't even work so I don;t know maybe I got a broke pan. Because other people have made them and they look good but nobody I know I only see pictures online of the cakes done up nice.

I ordered this item for my 4th child's 1st birthday. I have been practicing how much batter to use and how to decorate it before the actual party. It's pretty neat and the older kids have been enjoying the practice cakes! The pan is good quality.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was prompt and arrived sooner than what I expected. The only problem that I had was with a coupon (which was how I found the site). It had a free shipping for a certain dollar amount and the website wouldn't let me redeem it. I don't know why. It wasn't expired and I met the qualifications on the coupon. However, I am overall pleased.
