Write it down for posterity

Break the ice at any bridal shower with a game of "How I met the bride". Have each guest take a slip of paper and jot down the 411 on how they know the bride. Most unique story at each table wins the centerpiece! Take a page from her Aunt Alice, let relatives write down their favorite advice. Better yet, make a game of it and try to match the words of wisdom to each advice giver! Younger guests can doodle or play games in their very own notebooks. Little girls will feel so grown up as they take them out of their purses.
