Give kids a safe and fun place to hang out and earn some fundraising dollars for your school's group. Have one of your school's fundraising groups (Band Boosters, Athletic Boosters, FBLA, 4-H, etc) host a Popcorn and Movie Night at the school. Reserve your school's auditorium or gymnasium. Decorate it with popcorn balloons and a giant popcorn standee. Rent two age appropriate movies and send out popcorn invites to the students. Be sure to include the charge of the activity. Kids will love to watch a couple of movies, hang out with friends and eat lots of popcorn. And you will love earning a few bucks for your student groups. Just be sure to have enough bags of popcorn on hand.

Host a family-friendly school carnival fundraiser at your child's elementary school. Decorate the carnival event with a popcorn balloon arch and banner. While students are having fun with the games, rides, and entertainment, give them something to snack on - popcorn! It will be a day they look forward to year after year.

Celebrate National Popcorn Day with a popcorn party. Make tons of bowls of homemade popcorn and flavor them with different flavors. Caramel, cheese, hot and spicy - you name it. But everyone will love having fun and eating popcorn.
