You can’t properly celebrate the 5th of May without a Cinco de Mayo piñata. Guests can take turns swinging at the colorful cactus, sombrero or bull-shaped papier-mâché prop. Hang it outside and, for added difficulty, have guests put on a blindfold before giving it their best shot. If you have a crew of heavy hitters, give them a few spins before they swing for a real challenge. Just make sure everyone has a gift bag on hand so they can fill up on candy or favors once the piñata breaks!
Piñatas aren’t the only decoration that will be hanging down from your ceiling at your Mexican-themed party. Choose from an array of hanging decorations like fiesta lanterns and paper fan decorations. Mix and match decorations for an over-the-top party that guests of all ages will enjoy. Dizzying chili pepper whirls spin in the air as their metallic gold finish shimmers in the light. Hang them from the ceiling or from tree branches if you want to keep the party in the sunlight. They will certainly add the right amount of spice and sparkle to your celebration, whether it is indoors or outdoors.
