Decorate a Beautiful Thanksgiving Table with ShindigZ

Thanksgiving is on its way already! You can really make your Thanksgiving meal for family and friends extra-special with a beautifully decorated table.

Create a backdrop to your decorations with a Thanksgiving Custom Banner. Our banners are printed with your custom wording on heavy-duty, weather-resistant vinyl. Plus you can use our banners for your Thanksgiving festivities year after year!

As a base for your table decorations, use a fall stripe tablecover or some gossamer in rich autumn tones. Down the center of the table, run a table runner of gossamer in an accent color. (Check out our How to Decorate with Gossamer book for more gossamer ideas.)

Make a centerpiece for your table using a fall leaves serving bowl and filling it with fall leaves, fruit, nuts, or other Thanksgiving themed items perfect for creating your own cornucopia. Then, sprinkle iridescent fall leaves confetti over the top of your table for a beautiful finish.

Accent your chairs too using beaded chair ties. The ties with look beautiful with gold fringe beads hanging down.

Finally, set your table to coordinate with your decorations. If you don’t feel like using your own plates or china, use our gold plastic tableware with coordinating plates, cups and cutlery. Create cutlery bundles by wrapping the cutlery in a personalized napkin with your family name and a fall logo. Tie the bundle together using some simple garland, gold toss beads or thin strips of fabric.

For place markers, write each guest’s name on a leaf cut from the Autumn leaf garland and place the leaf between the plate and the cutlery bundle or inside their drinking class. These leaves are simple but look stunning!

Watch for more Thanksgiving posts in the coming week, and tell us about your traditions!
