Decorations for a Festive Cinco de Mayo Party

Cinco de Mayo is coming up and there’s still plenty of time to plan your fiesta! There are tons of festive decorations to take your party south of the border.

Set the scene with a decorating kit or a room setter such as the Fiesta Room Setter, an easy to use decoration that will transform your entire room into a Mexican party scene. For a huge impact, try the Southwestern Party Decorations. The giant cactus gate is perfect for taking commemorative photos while the backdrop and sheriff’s badge standee create a festive background to your event.

Be sure to let guests know where the party is! Set up Fiesta Yard signs around your neighborhood leading up to the party place. They’re great for welcoming guests too. Another decoration perfect for announcing your party or welcoming guests is the Cinco de Mayo Personalized Banner. The festive border surrounds your personalized wording. Our banners are printed on heavy-duty, weather-resistant vinyl with or without metal grommets for hanging. Plus, you can choose from several different sizes to fit your decorating needs.

There are also many decorating accents great for your party. Add some Fiesta Party Cutouts to your walls and ceilings for a themed decoration. Sante Fe Lights strung around the room are another fantastic touch. Use crepe paper in bright colors to had streamers and swags. Fiesta Swirls are a vibrant accent for your ceiling.

Balloons are a classic decoration that can’t be overestimated. Create balloon clusters of odd numbers in bright colors such as red, green and yellow, then accent the bunch with a mylar balloon such as a Chili Pepper Balloon or Fiesta Balloon. Attach the bunch with curling ribbon to a balloon weight and use them to accent floors, tables and walkways.

You have to have food for your fiesta and you can serve it in festive style with themed tableware. The Fiesta Tableware Ensemble and Fun Fiesta Tableware Ensemble are both great options. Accent your table with cactus centerpieces and chili pepper confetti. You can also have personalized napkins made to add a personal touch to your event. Add your own party details and a logo. Guests will love the extra special accent.
