Start with a wide selection of appetizers. These can include:

• Nachos
• Chips & Salsa
• Guacamole
• Queso Dip
• Quesadillas
• Tortilla Soup
• Stuffed Jalapenos

Be sure to have plenty of sour cream, shredded cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and onions on hand!

Alternatively, you can offers guests a tasty Taco Bar — complete with all the trimmings. This buffet-style meal works well for large groups.

For lighter fare or fiestas that take place during the day, choose Taco Salad. This can be served with either beef or chicken and can feature a variety of toppings as well.

For dessert, serve up some traditional Mexican Flan (topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce) and Sopapillas (pastry puffs seasoned with cinnamon, honey, and powdered sugar).

Salsa Recipe:

Make your own salsa for the party or during the party (for a fun activity!). Here is a delicious and tasty recipe:

Combine three chopped tomatoes, 1/2 cup of diced onions, four chili peppers (serranos work well), 1/2 cup of chopped cilantro, two teaspoons of fresh lime juice, and a teaspoon of salt in a bowl. Chill the salsa for at least an hour before serving.

To jazz up your salsa, consider adding in diced avocado.

Serve all your party food on fiesta tableware!
