I'm so excited to share with everyone my latest party put together for all you Shindigz readers. I put on my snow shoes and trekked through the cold until I reached Arendelle, the destination for Avalon’s Ice Palace. This little princess was turning 3 and she wanted nothing more than to celebrate with her friends Frozen style.
Guests entered through the castle gates where they were welcomed by Elsa & Olaf life size balloons. After venturing through the balloon ice tunnel, they came out on the other side to where the kids would dine in style.
I used ice blue and white linens mixed with sequin runners. Centerpieces were a mix of fresh flowers and ice trees with falling snowflakes.
The back of their petite seats were adorned with snowflakes as well as their pretty white snow cups. Sven & Olaf were there as well to overlook all the fun.
Once you ventured inside you came upon the favor table filled with a variety of different gifts for the kids to choose from. I always make a special flower arrangement for the favor table and this one was no different. I used all white flowers and crowned it with a beautiful snowflake Tiara to give it some extra sparkle. A birthday girl custom canvas was used to display a larger version of the invitation that was sent out and can now be kept as a keepsake. The girls could choose from snow wands, hair barrettes or jars of Elsa’s Magical Powers which consisted of candy jars filled with fake snow. The boys could choose from Olaf noses or snowflake punch balloons.
Anna & Elsa life size standees welcomed you to the ice palace dessert table where a beautiful ice chandelier hung above. The table included blue sheer curtains and a backdrop of falling snowflakes. To make the backdrop just layer different shapes and sizes of snowflakes offered by Shindigz. A variety of different treats were set out with my all time favorite treat for a Frozen themed party....icicle rock candy.
Special appearances were made by Elsa, Anna & Kristoff who entertained the kids with story time, face painting and throwing snowballs. We filled up an inflatable pool with fake snow which was a big hit and kept the kids happy for hours.
It was truly a magical day for all who came. Thank you snow much for looking!
