My son still wears this. What started as something for his racing themed birthday party has turned into a space exploration helmet. For the price, you can't find it anywhere else for the fun. Kids seemed happy. Cute idea.

Was looking for space helmets for a joke skit with adults and these were super cheap (a good thing!) but they only came down to about the edge of my nose as they're meant for kids - ended up being super funny for the spoof skit which we filmed in my living room... not what was intended exactly - great for kids though it does get HOT in that helmet (sweating!) worth the couple of bucks, though, DEFINITELY!

We purchased these for a 4-year-old's birthday party. We added stickers to the sides and personalized the helmets for all of the party guests. The party boy has worn the helmet every day for the past 2 weeks. When the helmet is on he is in character as a space ranger/astronaut. The party hasn't even happened yet and we have already gotten our money's worth.
The one problem we had was that the clear plastic would get stuck partially inside the face opening and the plastic would bend exposing sharp edges. Those were easily fixed by applying pressure to smooth out the bends.

When they came I wasn't sure what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised! The kids had a blast decorating them with stickers to which could be applied over and over if they wanted to change their minds. We used a black light room so the white part glowed in the dark :) It was fabulous!

These are better quality than I expected, given the low price. We are going to give one to each child at my son's outer space birthday party and let each child decorate them with stickers and wear them for the party. I've seen them elsewhere on the internet for about $5 to $7 so the price here is great. The face shields can be snapped in place or unsnapped so that they pivot up out of the way. My kids played with them for several days and they did not break, so I think they'll be fine for the party.

This space man/astronaut helmet was perfect for my 3 year old son's space themed birthday party. The kids loved them and had a great time being astronauts. The helmets would also be great for halloween costumes. They aren't extremely sturdy and probably won't last too long, but for the price they are a great value. And, they will probably last longer than the little boys' attention spans.
There is only cheap foam inside where the chin straps are attached and at the top of the helmet. If your kids are sensitive it might be a "scratchy" problem. Also they are pretty small. It barely sits on the top of my head, and fits my son who has an average size head for a 3 y.o. just perfectly. Kids very much older might have a tight fit.
Don't expect it to last forever, but it's fun while it lasts!

We used these helmets as favors for our son's 1st b'day party and they were a hit! All the kids were running around with them on. I personlaized them myself with a sharpie which worked out really well. We had an outer-space themed party so they were perfect. And for the price the quality is excellent. We were surprised at how nice they were. Highly recommended.
