Wedding Ceremony Decorating Ideas
Our wedding ideas can take your special day decorations to new heights. From wedding table centerpieces and napkins to wedding aisle runners and ring pillows, we have everything you need.
Your ceremony:
A few wedding ceremony basics include unity candles, a ring pillow, an aisle and pew decorations. Choose from one of our delicately carved unity candle groupings and set them in the alter. Then, if you are using flowers, have your florist add small touches of coordinating flowers and greenery around the candle stand base to tie in with your décor. Be sure to have a separate candle lit somewhere to use in the lighting of the unity candles.
For the aisle runner, have your florist or a trustworthy friend secure one end of the runner with heavy pins or tape in the appropriate place. It will then be ready to be pulled out by the ushers just before the bride makes her appearance remind the ushers to take their time it is important that the runner is wrinkle free.
If you have a ring bearer to present your rings, you can either tie both rings to the pillow before hand, or if the ring bearer is very young or you are nervous about losing the rings, you can tie fake gold bands to the pillow for appearance only. Each of our pillows comes with two satin ribbons for tying on rings. Make sure you have something on the pillow, fake or real. A young child takes his roll very seriously and might be upset if his big moment comes and there aren't any rings.
Work with you florist on decoration for the pew ends. Gossamer is an affordable decoration that is easy to use. Tie the gossamer into bows and attach them to the end. Leave long "tails" on the gossamer for an elegant look.
For your grand exit, try passing out personalized containers filled with personalized bubbles. Personalize with your names and date for each guest to keep as a favor and use to blow at the Bride and Groom as an alternative to rice.
