Please note that all of the job openings listed are for the Shindigz headquarters in South Whitley, Indiana. South Whitley is located approximately 20 miles west of Fort Wayne.


Primary Function

This is a hands-on copywriting position for our web site, social media properties, content marketing initiative and email program efforts. You will also serve as the point person for our search engine optimization program coordinating efforts between external SEO resources, the internal technical team and internal content resources.

College degree in Advertising, English, Journalism, Communications or Publishing or a comparable level experience in one or more of these areas.
  • A creative thinker able to develop innovative content ideas that will increase demand
  • 2+ years copywriting experience with a strong portfolio of examples
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a high-performance environment
  • Basic understanding of search engine optimization techniques and tools

  • Write, edit, and assist in the development of emails, social campaigns, and other online marketing programs
  • Develop robust inspirational content in the form of blog posts, articles, checklists, tips, timelines, etc. to show customers amazing ways to use our products
  • Assist the Merchandising team with the development of product names and product name strategies
  • Develop guidelines for the creation of on-brand, search engine friendly copy for product descriptions on all websites
  • Coordinate SEO efforts and provide basic reporting using common SEO tools
  • Ensure accuracy of information presented in copy including content, keywords, titles, and search engine optimization META copy
  • Assist in the development of an editorial calendar/content plan in collaboration with the Marketing Team
  • Provide bullet-proof, error-free proofreading services for all marketing materials


Ability to write a large volume of strategically sound and brand-relevant material on a weekly basis. Thorough proof reading skills necessary.



Primary Function

Catalog layout, corrections and/or Web image make ready.

Job Duties:

2-4 year design degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent skills with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop on both MAC and PC

  • Ability to work occasional overtime hours


Primary Function

Position Summary:

Performs a variety of technical and support services involving printing, production, and operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Examines work orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production time, stock specifications, colors and color sequences and prioritize work based on shipping method
  • Must be able to perform basic machine maintenance including changing ink cartridge, cleaning heads and run test as needed
  • Selects and installs and re-positions printing plates, adjusts pressure rolls, and/or adjusts machines to improve print quality as needed
  • Prints with repeatable results—and anticipates, recognizes and fixes possible issues
  • Performs quality checks throughout the print run and verify that the proper quantity has been printed
  • A self-manager who will take initiative and ownership of deadlines while prioritizing tasks in an efficient manner
  • Must have organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team
  • Must maintain a clean work station at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Primary Function

P​rimary Function:  Help us make celebrations more fun, creative, and inspiring! This is a hands-on graphic design position for an imaginative, creative thinker with great design skills, an ability to make images perfect in Photoshop, a knack for color, and an eye for stylish typography.  You will be creating images, layouts and other pieces of communications for our web site, social media properties, content marketing initiatives, email program and more.

•Using our 52 Week calendar you will work with the Merchant and Marketing teams to create home page graphics for our sites.
•Use our content management system to load images and graphics to the web site.
•Design special landing pages and category pages for major occasions and featured products.
•Be a champion of our brand standards! Closely watch all web, email and social executions to ensure that we are maintaining brand standards.
•Create hero graphics for our category and subcategory pages across the site.
•Retouch images and composite images to highlight product colors, features, photo personalization and more.
•Support Shindigz mobile site design needs. 
•Provide basic click analysis of home page graphics to determine the attractiveness of offers and presentations
•Collaborate with project teams to develop recommendations to enhance the web user experience, interface, navigation, and functionality.

College degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or Media Arts – or an outstanding portfolio of print and web design work.
•1-2 years of design experience.  Will also consider a recent college grad with a great portfolio and examples of design work.
•Basic HTML skills a plus.
•Some familiarity with web browsers, mobile devices and operating systems a plus.
•Basic understanding of ecommerce systems or content management systems such as blogs, web publishing systems, etc.
•Demonstrated willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a high-performance environment
•Some familiarity with parties, events, home décor, parenting, DIY, crafting or similar content is helpful.
•Team player with a positive can-do attitude
•Ability to multi-task; to be highly organized; detail oriented; and be a strategic thinker

  • ​Must have a great portfolio of design work and outstanding Photoshop skills.

Primary Function

​Primary Function: To enhances photography in post-production through image retouch and size optimization. You will also be required to maintain a comprehensive database of all the images taken on a shoot, so that they can be presented effectively online or in a catalogue.  Also, assist photographers in setting up props and other necessary materials which will form the subject of photo shoots, collecting the necessary materials and props from various suppliers, arranging objects in the desired fashion and setting up lights.

Job Duties:
•Color correct and enhance image photography
•Optimize and resize images to web and print specs
•Photoshop image composites of favors and large format items
•Assist in styling sets for photography
•Organize and catalog samples for photoshoots 
•Manage status of items in the Photography queue

Course Study in Graphic design, Photography, image-retouch

Graphic applications for PC are a must; proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Photoshop is required. MS Office.
