SEASONAL GENERAL WAREHOUSE

Department
Warehouse
Primary Function

Position Summary:

The General Warehouse position requires individuals fill outgoing orders to ensure products are accurately pulled from stock, labeled, boxed, and packaged. Individuals will spend majority of their time standing, lifting, and carrying products and climbing ladders (depending on assignment) to fill orders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Locate and pull stock for outgoing Orders.
  • Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling).
  • Use the computer system to locate products
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment, performing job functions in a safe manner and good housekeeping practices.
  • Maintaining productivity related to standards based on assigned task.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Tools & Equipment Used: Box Cutter, Tape Gun, Scanner

Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is frequently required to stand, reach, walk, stoop, or kneel for the entire length of their shift. The individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

SEASONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Department

Primary Function

Position Summary:

Provide outstanding customer service by professionally handling contacts from customers in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Professionally handle incoming contacts from customers
  • Sales contacts include entering orders, answering product questions, helping customers shop online, and assisting with planning events
  • Service contacts include answering questions regarding order status and tracking, resolving order issues, and negotiating discounts
  • Up-sell products and services

COPYWRITER AND SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION LEAD

Department

Primary Function

This is a hands-on copywriting position for our web site, social media properties, content marketing initiative and email program efforts. You will also serve as the point person for our search engine optimization program coordinating efforts between external SEO resources, the internal technical team and internal content resources.

Education
College degree in Advertising, English, Journalism, Communications or Publishing or a comparable level experience in one or more of these areas.

  • 2+ years copywriting experience with a strong portfolio of examples
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a high-performance environment

Goals/Duties:

  • Write, edit, and assist in the development of emails, social campaigns, and other online marketing programs
  • Develop robust inspirational content in the form of blog posts, articles, checklists, tips, timelines, etc. to show customers amazing ways to use our products
  • Assist the Merchandising team with the development of product names and product name strategies
  • Develop guidelines for the creation of on-brand, search engine friendly copy for product descriptions on all websites
  • Coordinate SEO efforts and provide basic reporting using common SEO tools
  • Ensure accuracy of information presented in copy including content, keywords, titles, and search engine optimization META copy
  • Assist in the development of an editorial calendar/content plan in collaboration with the Marketing Team
  • Provide bullet-proof, error-free proofreading services for all marketing materials

Qualifications:

Ability to write a large volume of strategically sound and brand-relevant material on a weekly basis. Thorough proof reading skills necessary.

SOCIAL MEDIA AND PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATOR

Responsible for achieving web site traffic and revenue targets through social media and coordinating customer-facing Public Relations activities.

Education
4-year marketing, media, or English writing degree or 1-3 years’ experience working in an Internet marketing or PR capacity

  • 2-3 years of experience with social med, public relations, and/or digital media
  • Proven written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
  • Portfolio of written marketing materials, social media, and public relations success stories

  • Daily, hands on content creation and management for our social media outlets including Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest
  • Daily management of social media budget for promoted posts and sponsorships and reporting/analysis of social media metrics
  • Ongoing management of our network of party stylists and bloggers. Coordinate all photography projects with bloggers
  • Coordination of social media and PR activities with the company-wide marketing calendar
  • Regularly monitor and facilitate all feedback and comments in the social media space
  • Manage all public relations programs including sponsorship of the Shindigz National Soccer Festival and the Fort Wayne Tin Caps
  • Administer all social media contests, including the development of terms and conditions, service pages, prize or gift certificate fulfillment
  • Spot new social media trends or opportunities and be an internal advocate of social media

JR. CATALOG DESIGNER

FULL TIME 2ND & 3RD SHIFT

Primary Function

Position Summary:

Performs a variety of technical and support services involving printing, production, and operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Examines work orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production time, stock specifications, colors and color sequences and prioritize work based on shipping method
  • Must be able to perform basic machine maintenance including changing ink cartridge, cleaning heads and run test as needed
  • Selects and installs and re-positions printing plates, adjusts pressure rolls, and/or adjusts machines to improve print quality as needed
  • Prints with repeatable results—and anticipates, recognizes and fixes possible issues
  • Performs quality checks throughout the print run and verify that the proper quantity has been printed
  • A self-manager who will take initiative and ownership of deadlines while prioritizing tasks in an efficient manner
  • Must have organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team
  • Must maintain a clean work station at all times

CUSTOMER SERVICE ORDER PRODUCTION REP

Primary Function

Position Summary:

To bring our customers image to life. Do our part to ensure our customer can create that special event. Ensure we are providing a quality image to meet/exceed customer expectation.

Schedule:

9am-5:30pm M-F

Job Duties:

  • Create cut contour for custom props (big heads, standees, fan faces)
  • Process files in a timely manner to ensure we meet or exceed customers expected arrival date
  • Maintain orders in our internal workflow system which gives everyone visibility into where the product is within the process
  • Cross train in Icut (software which adds registration marks and barcode to file which is used in the print/cad areas)
  • Contact customers regarding image quality issues
  • Educate customers on image requirements

Education
High School degree or equivalent.
Experience
  • ​Working knowledge on a computer
  • Experience with photo shop and illustrator are a plus but not required
  • Customer Service and sales experience is preferred
