We love shipping to our Canadian friends and family. Wendy has several family members who live in Canada, and her family has owned a cottage in the Thousand Islands for the past 125 years. We love vacationing there each year and taking in the beautiful sites the country has to offer. (Plus, we think butter tarts rock!)
Each year we look forward to our family celebrations in Canada and would love to help you with all of your special occasions. We have compiled a list of shipping, payment, and other important policies below that will help you during your ordering process. It is our hope that you will find this information most helpful, and that your shopping experience will be easy, quick, and enjoyable. Shipping Information
As you know, please allow ample time for delivery. Most items are shipped within two business days after we receive your order, except for personalized and kit items which take longer. See product description for production time. To determine your shipping charges in Canada, please refer to the chart below. Shipping charges are based on the value of the merchandise and not the number of shipments. Remember to allow for time for customs, clearance, and delivery into Canada. We recommend that you use our "Ship When Complete" option so that as many items as possible are consolidated together for shipment, thus limiting multiple shipments.

Please allow at least 2-3 days for customs clearance plus 4-7 days for delivery. (Orders will be shipped UPS and arrive anywhere from 6 - 10 business days after order has been shipped - Saturday and Sunday are not counted as business days.)
You may receive multiple boxes of merchandise. Since our shipping charges are based on the value of the merchandise and not the number of shipments, you will receive no additional charges from ShindigZ for these deliveries. However, you will be responsible to pay all customs, duties, and local taxes on all boxes.
Payment Options
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. You may mail in a check with the order form. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Please make all checks or money orders payable in U.S. funds. All customers outside the U.S. are responsible for customs, duties, and local taxes. Sorry, C.O.D. is not available. We offer open accounts to schools and government entities upon request.
Open Accounts
Open accounts are on Net 30 day terms. An authorized official from the organization must approve the order and guarantee payment, including shipping costs for all orders. If your school uses purchase orders, please have the purchase order number ready when you place your order. For your protection and ours, we may ask that you confirm your order in writing. After 30 days a 1 1/2 % monthly service charge may be applies to all past due balances.
Other Terms
Please remit all funds in U.S. dollars. A $30 fee will be applied to returned checks. All credit balances not used or claimed within 90 days of invoicing become the property of ShindigZ.
Returns
A return form is enclosed in each shipment (on the reverse side of your packing slip). To ensure proper credit, fill out the form and enclose it with the items you are returning. All merchandise must be returned within 30 days of receipt. Only unused items with unbroken seals and packaging may be returned. A 15% restocking fee may apply to returned gossamer or background materials. We will credit your original method of payment, excluding delivery charges and restocking fee. Products that have been custom printed, specially cut or assembled are not returnable. Health regulations prohibit the return of hats, tiaras, temporary tattoos or any apparel that has been worn as well as any food items. Please mark on the box "U.S. goods being returned."
